Q. Do you have sign up fees?
A. KPR choses to bill their clients for what they use without charging any minimum monthly fees and no start up costs.
Q. Can I charge my debtors for the collection costs?
A. Many court costs are recoverable back from your debtor. Upon request we can provide a guide to what court fees can be claimed. If you have a recoverable clause in your Terms and Conditions, pre-legal costs can be collected.
Q. When is it a good time to send an account to a collection agency?
A. The sooner the better. The longer an account is left unpaid, the smaller the opportunities are to recover the funds.
Q. Is there a guarantee I will get my money back from my debtors?
A. Unfortunately not all debts can be recovered for reasons beyond our control. For example, should your debtor file for bankruptcy, monies are then in the hands of the trustee. KPR proudly has one of the highest success rates in the industry and have proven by doing something rather than nothing is a far better option.
Q. Will I have to attend court?
A. Some court actions may require a representative from your business / company to attend. In other circumstances, a solicitor is provided for you. It is recommended to consult your Account Manager at the time of submitting a court action to discuss what may be required.
Q. When is a debt too small to take action against?
A. No debt is too small to do something about. Our Account Managers assess each situation as it comes to hand and advise of the most suitable course of action. Ask us about our online demand letter service that is perfect for those smaller debts.
Q. Can you provide a service to prevent accounts becoming in arrears?
A. KPR provides not only debt collection services but also credit management solutions that help maintain your accounts and improve your cashflow. Effective credit management can free up funds that would otherwise be inaccessible and create funds that would otherwise be lost.
